This khaki beige blanket is made from 50% recycled acrylic, 40% recycled polyester, and 10% cotton — a more sustainable take on the traditional Baja diamond-pattern blanket. It's our thickest, heaviest-weight Baja style, made in Mexico and measuring 80" x 50" (2m x 1.3m).

Where the design comes from

Mexican diamond blankets are sometimes called "Aztec," "Navajo," or "Indian" blankets, named for their traditional centre-diamond layout and rich striped colours. Navajo textiles specifically originate with the Navajo people of the Four Corners region of the US, prized as trade items for over 150 years, with strong geometric patterns in red, black, green, yellow, and grey that carry meaning tied to the land. This blanket reflects that visual tradition, in a khaki beige palette using recycled materials.

How to use it

Being the heaviest weight in the Baja range, it works well as a cosy bed or sofa throw, a weighted yoga prop or savasana cover, or a machine-washable blanket for picnics, the beach, or camping.
